Addressing journalists, Volodymyr Rybak noted that inspired work of mass media representatives “affects formation of public opinion, induces society to active actions and awakens vibrant feelings based on ever-lasting Christian laws”.
“You have been always standing guard of democracy, human values, education of a community and what is more – the stand of strict adherence to the requirements of Constitution, the laws of Ukraine and the rule of law. Such civil position is a guarantee of development of our glorious State,” stressed the Chairman of the Parliament.
Volodymyr Rybak said that “Ukraine makes steady progress on the way to European integration, consistently adhering to the main requirements of the European Union in the part of human rights and freedoms, freedom of speech and protection of journalists”. Thereat, he called mass media representatives to “work honestly, creatively and professionally” since, “the future of our state, its prosperity and respect in the world depends on each of you”.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada wished all those present “significant creative projects, good mood, health, bright ideas and real support on the part of three other branches of power”.
